Franly Ellis POL 241 Barry Murdaco "The kinds of organization that are the focus of this study are expected to further the interest of their members." This quotes means that It is assumed that the types of organization that have been the aim of this paper provides a strong interests of the community. I chose this quote because it reflects the idea that organizations, parties, groups etc were meant to interest the common person so that their value for the subject matter will get notice in order to change or discuss a topic. This quote is important because it shows why people gather together to make a change in their common interest, for example in the article it was stated that the farmer common interest was the favorable legislation, the stockholder interest was the higher dividends and stock prices also the union members common interest were higher wages, which all these were reasons why people decided to make this types of groups.
